Well, how about a little bit about WHO you're planning on hiring! My name is Emma and I can't wait to meet you.

I moved to Port Elgin in 2021, a couple years after finishing my Digital Photography and Imaging program with Georgian College in Barrie. My partner and I now own our own home and share it with two beautiful kitties named Smudge and Pudge.

I started this business officially in 2016 when I was in college, but have been photographing since I was 14 years old. Photography has been a huge passion of mine since my dad let
me hold his Pentax for the first time when I was a child. I proceeded to learn about film photography and how to use a Darkroom while in high school.

Along with my schooling and a couple of jobs in the
field, this is where I am today! An award-winning professional
photographer who is ready to capture the most special moments in your life.

My goal as your photographer is to capture the moments that matter most—those subtle, heartfelt exchanges that tell your story. From the loving gaze of a newly engaged couple, where the depth of their connection shines through, to the joyful laughter of your child that echoes in your memory, to the delicate details of your newborn, forever preserving the fleeting beauty of their tiniest days.

Together we can capture those perfect little memories, and preserve them forever.

Meet Alena

I recently decided to bring on Alena, who is new to the Port
Elgin area, moving from the United States. Alena studied criminal
justice, criminal law, and social work in college, and although she doesn’t have the same schooling background that I do, she brings so much to the table for this business.

Alena comes from a very large family and is very family-oriented. Because of this, she works super well with people of all ages. She’s super moldable and has a great eye for posing with photography.

As of January 2025, Alena has officially joined the team, and I am so excited for you to meet her!

Alena will be assisting on as many shoots as possible, as they are all learning opportunities for her. We thank you in advance for your understanding, patience, and co-operation while Alena is learning the ropes!
